who am i?

I am Pär Vikström, owner of Pavigaze   I have worked as a doctor for many years. At the same time, I have taken an interest in home projects of various kinds.  I am also an admirer of architecture from the past.  In recent years, I have cut back on my medical practice and the idea of taking my interest in carpentry one step further has taken shape. In 2021, the process of designing and constructing this garden pavilion based on ancient style ideals began. Also, make it in a modular format, ’Ikea-style’, so that a normally handy person should be able to put it together quite easily. A source of inspiration has been the well-known Swedish architect Fredrik Blom, who made mobile pavilions back in the early 1800s. In the summer of 2023 I built a prototype that can be viewed here in Skellefteå, Sweden. Feel free to come over and take a look!
